Good question!
- All recommended texts are not created equal! By that I mean that I found some to be immensely helpful, while with at least one book I never touched it. So the general tip I hear from many is to maybe "test drive" the recommended textbooks. Most, if not all are available on reserve or in general circulation in both the UDM and UW Law libraries. So you have the option of being able to take the books for a test run and see whether it is helpful to you. If it is, maybe it's worth the investment. If not, then don't worry about it. Or maybe you could share a copy with your carpool?
